Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the construction and installation of wireless communication towers and technology upgrades
• Work with superintendents, foremen, and Construction Managers to plan and direct construction projects
• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards
• Monitor and control projects through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure completion on schedule and within budget
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests
• Formulate reports concerning work progress, costs, and scheduling
• Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures

Requirements

• Must have an active Electrical Journeyman license
• Proven working experience in tower construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant regulations
• Ability to travel out of market/state for up to several weeks at a time (50-70%)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Five years of experience in tower construction management
• Familiarity with construction management software packages
