Electrical Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and develop IO electrical validation requirements and test coverages for Memory and HSIO interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet).
• Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans to ensure compliance and success at the platform level.
• Conduct hands-on measurement and characterization of Post-Si IO electrical interfaces using advanced lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR, and VNA.
• Plan and execute SI/PI validation for next-generation interconnects including PCIe Gen6/7, 224G Ethernet, and LPDDR5/6.
• Own and drive the debugging of Post-Si electrical issues in collaboration with hardware, BIOS, firmware, and OS teams.
• Manage Compliance, Certification, and Electrical Validation for respective interfaces.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in hardware architecture, logic/circuit design, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of JEDEC standards for LPDDR5 and DDR5.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience using lab equipment including protocol/logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PCIe 4/5 and 25G Ethernet.
• Experience with 56G PAM4 Serdes characterization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to independently drive tasks to completion and manage board/platform-level debug.
