Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical work complies with GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical validation requirements, as well as local and international electrical codes
• Oversee the operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs, and main distribution systems
• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors
• Lead installation, commissioning, modification, and expansion projects for facility and utility electrical systems
• Review and approve technical specifications for electrical projects
• Ensure reliable electrical supply for HVAC systems, Chillers, boilers, air compressors, and vacuum systems
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and develop mitigation plans, redundancy concepts, and emergency response procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering
• 3–5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or similar manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of MV, LV, and Low-Current systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as Maximo or SAP PM
• Proven experience managing projects, contractors, and budgets
• Strong communication and leadership skills
