Electrical Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing of main AC/DC distribution systems using AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams
• Test various systems including HVAC, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarms, and battery systems
• Troubleshoot assembly, wiring, and testing problems
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate and timely testing execution
• Draft detailed technical reports to present findings and recommend modifications to correct production issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in electrical testing or a related field
• Knowledge of three-phase AC and DC control circuits
• Proficiency with standard electrical testing and measuring equipment
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and NEC Codes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for preparing test reports and proposals
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
