Electrical Test Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated or manual test fixtures to support hardware validation and sustaining activities
• Probe, test, and debug returned hardware to identify root causes of failures
• Conduct component-level troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers
• Generate comprehensive first-level analysis reports and detailed FA documentation
• Analyze RMA data trends to recommend design or firmware changes to reduce field failure rates

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3-4 years in hardware testing, manufacturing test engineering, or failure analysis
• Proficiency in debugging embedded systems and high-speed communication interfaces
• Experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting for automated diagnostic routines
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers
• Systematic and methodical approach to isolating variables on defective devices
• Clear written communication skills for technical reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JIRA for bug tracking
• Experience with Confluence for technical documentation
