About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated or manual test fixtures to support hardware validation and sustaining activities
- Probe, test, and debug returned hardware to identify root causes of failures
- Conduct component-level troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers
- Generate comprehensive first-level analysis reports and detailed FA documentation
- Analyze RMA data trends to recommend design or firmware changes to reduce field failure rates
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3-4 years in hardware testing, manufacturing test engineering, or failure analysis
- Proficiency in debugging embedded systems and high-speed communication interfaces
- Experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting for automated diagnostic routines
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers
- Systematic and methodical approach to isolating variables on defective devices
- Clear written communication skills for technical reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA for bug tracking
- Experience with Confluence for technical documentation
