Electrical Test Engineering Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical test engineers and technicians, setting direction and priorities for execution
• Set the technical vision and roadmap for electrical test infrastructure to align with hardware and product goals
• Architect system-level validation in partnership with systems engineering across all development phases
• Define and enforce best practices for test architecture, automation, data quality, and documentation
• Guide the development of Python-based test infrastructure, automation frameworks, and scalable lab test systems
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to influence product architecture for testability and observability
• Ensure lab infrastructure and tools scale to support multiple concurrent programs and increasing complexity
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally to support builds and partners

Requirements

• BS or greater in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in system validation, test engineering, or electrical engineering
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and driving team execution
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and system-level thinking
• Proficiency with scripting (Python or similar) and version control (Git)
• Extensive hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
