Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs across all resort areas, including guest rooms, kitchens, laundry, and public spaces.
• Execute required works in accordance with the Engineering Department's preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and council laws, including electrical testing and tagging.
• Identify sources of possible defects to prevent unexpected breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain fire detection systems, including smoke detectors, call points, and fire hydrants, and respond to fire alarm calls.
• Complete room and public area maintenance according to the Perfect Room Program and PAM checklists.
• Log all maintenance requests and completed tasks in the appropriate logbooks.
• Assist with work performed by outside contractors and support in-house team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in preventative maintenance management.
• Ability to manage budgets effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
