Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical system condition assessments and inventory verification for interior systems and infrastructure interfaces
• Support the identification and correction of inventory errors and BUILDER data quality issues
• Provide technical input for electrical safety practices, fire detection systems, control systems, and maintenance/repair planning
• Assist Operations Flight shops with prioritization guidance and deconfliction of work tasks
• Participate in Sub-AMP working groups to support mid-range CM strategy development
• Support quarterly data reviews and the implementation of data entry standards across shops

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building electrical systems, electrical safety, fire detection, power distribution, and control systems
• Air Force minimum 5-level or equivalent experience
• Required AFIT: WENG 200, WMGT 231, WMGT 417
• Active Secret Clearance
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and applicable electrical codes
• Strong documentation discipline and ability to execute assessment production requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with arc flash safety concepts and electrical control systems troubleshooting documentation
• BUILDER assessor experience, including BRED workflows
• Experience supporting airfield/area lighting or base infrastructure environments
