Electrical Technician III - High Voltage

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on high and low voltage electrical systems and equipment
• Execute electrical maneuvers in high and low voltage systems for power generation and distribution
• Analyze and repair low voltage command circuits and perform diagnostics on motors and transformers
• Parameterize and configure electrical equipment, including frequency inverters, PLC, and low/medium/high voltage protections
• Assist supervision in monitoring scheduled activities and identifying root causes for technical failures
• Prepare technical reports and record maintenance data in information systems (SAP)
• Support the implementation of improvements and the optimization of maintenance plans
• Accompany tests and startup of systems and equipment in the field

Requirements

• Technical degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuit analysis and electrical machines
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and drawings (force, command, and interconnection)
• Proficiency in electrical measurements using specialized instrumentation
• Experience with high voltage maneuvers in generation and distribution systems
• Knowledge of frequency inverters and PLC programming
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in continuous process industries, preferably in the Pulp and Paper sector
