Electrical Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Execute electrical maneuvers in both low and high voltage environments
• Install and maintain electrical circuits, including lighting and power outlets
• Analyze and repair low-voltage command circuits
• Conduct diagnostic tests on electrical motors and transformers
• Identify root causes of failures and propose technical solutions to prevent recurrence
• Parameterize and configure electrical equipment such as protection relays, inverters, and PLCs
• Prepare technical reports and record maintenance data in information systems (SAP)
• Support the startup of systems and equipment and participate in scheduled maintenance shutdowns

Requirements

• Technical degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuit analysis and electrical machines
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and drawings (force, command, and interconnection)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Knowledge of electrical measurements using specialized instruments
• Understanding of electrical distribution systems, protection equipment, and installation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in continuous process industries, preferably in Pulp and Paper
• Knowledge of PLC programming software
