About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and production equipment.
  • Execute equipment repairs, changeovers, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support for PC/PLC, HMI-based systems, and electronic controls, sensors, and relays.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Assist with equipment installations, power installations, and system modifications, including validation and qualification procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, SOPs, and cGMP regulations.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain established production objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Completion of a four-year certified electrical/electronic apprenticeship program (minimum 8,000 OJT hours and 600 technical training hours).
  • Knowledge of electrical circuitry and power distribution.
  • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic.
  • Ability to operate a man lift as needed.
  • Proficiency in using electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four years of equivalent experience as an electrician, electronic technician, or electro-mechanical maintenance technician within the pharmaceutical or packaging industry.
