About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems and devices within production operations.
  • Execute equipment repairs, changeovers, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support for PC/PLC and HMI-driven systems and machinery.
  • Assist with equipment inspections, installations, and system power modifications, including validation and qualification procedures.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic to resolve equipment issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with company GMPs, safety standards, SOPs, and housekeeping regulations.
  • Operate a manlift as required for specific tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Completion of a four-year certified electrical/electronic apprenticeship program (minimum 8,000 OJT hours and 600 technical training hours).
  • Proficiency in using electrical and electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic.
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical circuitry, power distribution, electronic controls, sensors, and relays.
  • Experience or equivalent training in maintaining PC/PLC and HMI-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four years of experience as an electrician, electronic technician, or electro-mechanical maintenance technician within the pharmaceutical or packaging industry.
