General Matter enriches uranium. We are designing, building, and operating the world’s lowest-cost enrichment services, here in the US, to restore America’s ability to produce nuclear fuel for AI, advanced manufacturing, and critical industries.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble high-quality wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Read and interpret drawings and controlled documentation
- Perform hardware verification and document results
- Assist with the development of production processes
- Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures
- Build and terminate AC power equipment up to 480VAC
- Build electrical control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards
- Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components
- Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalency certificate
- Understanding of basic electronic theory
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting
- Skilled with mechanical hand tools
- 2+ years of hands-on work experience
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
- Availability for required shift hours, overtime, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or integration
- Experience autonomously setting up and running tests and experiments
- Strong attention to detail and work efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
