Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, ensuring quality and compliance with safety, personal, and product specifications.
• Support area operations and develop specialized maintenance knowledge.
• Comply with Essity safety policies and maintenance Score Card indicators.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance shutdowns and unplanned stops.
• Apply 5S methodologies, manage red/yellow tags, and report near-misses and BOS.
• Perform cleanings and inspections to detect deviations and apply maintenance standards.
• Participate in analysis to reduce downtime.

Requirements

• Completed High School (Bachillerato) or Engineering degree.
• Previous industrial experience and availability for shift work.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment safety, including LOTO, APRR, and safety permits.
• Proficiency in industrial electricity and basic electronics.
• Experience using electrical measurement equipment (multimeter/ammeter) and electrical workshop tools.
• Ability to perform thermography routines and work with ladder/block logic.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams under DIN standards.
• Capability to diagnose faults in PLCs, drives, motors, and CCM.
