Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow safe systems of work, including developing isolation instructions and job safety analyses
• Provide assessment and follow-up of equipment issues impacting plant performance
• Perform equipment inspections, detailed planning, and condition monitoring
• Execute safe, efficient, and effective emergency repairs
• Fault-find on electrical equipment including PLCs, drives, and instrumentation systems
• Identify improvement opportunities and report on findings
• Assist in the site management of contractors and maintenance service providers

Requirements

• Electrical trade qualifications
• Current NSW Electrical License
• Experience working with IBA tracing and PLCs
• Strong commitment to safety and problem-solving
• Experience in fault finding and carrying out equipment repairs within an industrial manufacturing environment
