Electrical Technical Lead – Data Center

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design reviews and construction supervision for HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, power distribution, and grounding.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Ensure all electrical systems meet international data center standards and local authority requirements.
• Support site supervision activities, including inspections, testing, and reviewing contractor method statements and commissioning plans.
• Identify technical risks, constructability issues, and non-conformances.
• Provide expert technical advice to the Project Manager and Client throughout the construction phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical electrical systems.
• Proven experience in design review and construction supervision roles.
• Strong familiarity with Tier III and Tier IV data center concepts.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) status.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
• Deep technical knowledge in MEP coordination.
• Experience leading site teams under fast-track project conditions.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
