Responsibilities

• Analyze operational needs and specify requirements
• Define global electrical architecture (production, distribution, conversion, protection)
• Design and dimension electrical networks (LV/MV, DC, backup)
• Specify electrical equipment: switchboards, converters, cables, protections, batteries
• Manage interfaces with other disciplines (mechanical, fluids, automation, systems)
• Perform or lead selectivity studies, power balance, and electrical safety studies
• Participate in design reviews and configuration management
• Monitor manufacturing, onboard integration, and testing (FAT, HAT, SAT)
• Apply naval and defense sector standards

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bac +5) in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or systems
• 2 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in naval, industrial, or defense environments
• Strong knowledge of electrotechnics, electrical networks, and functional safety
• Proficiency in electrical design and calculation tools (SEE Electrical, Caneco, ETAP, EPLAN or equivalent)
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams
• Technical English proficiency
