About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of electricians, technicians, and contractors
  • Plan and allocate daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Oversee maintenance of LV electrical systems, MCCs, pumps, and control equipment
  • Ensure compliance with BS7671, WIMES, and Health & Safety regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks
  • Diagnose electrical, control, and automation faults
  • Supervise electrical works on capital and refurbishment projects
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and asset management records

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
  • CSCS/ECS card, SSSTS card, and Jib Gold card
  • Water Hygiene / EUSR National Water Hygiene Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience supervising electrical works in the water or utilities industry
  • Knowledge of water treatment assets and SCADA/PLC systems
