Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Supervise foremen, electricians, and subcontractors
• Manage workforce assignments and jobsite resources
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety plans, and electrical codes
• Inspect work to verify quality and adherence to project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams
• Review drawings, schedules, and material requirements
• Lead crews, assign tasks, and maintain productivity standards
• Provide training, guidance, and support to field personnel
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate project concerns
• Ensure installation of power, lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems meets standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience including supervisory experience
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification
