Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Mentor and help to grow Junior Superintendents
• Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
• Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
• Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
• Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover
• Maintain daily diaries for record-keeping purposes
• Ensure performance evaluations for direct reports are completed in a timely fashion
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure all work conforms to drawings, specifications, and safety standards

Requirements

• 6+ years of Electrical Construction experience
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership or Superintendent capacity
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and planning skills
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and identify/resolve problems quickly
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Willingness to work at various locations across Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on industrial projects (e.g., oil & gas facilities, renewable energy)
