Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical scope of projects, managing foremen and electrical craft workers to ensure productivity, safety, and quality.
• Act as a liaison between field engineering and craft teams to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and Kiewit leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Assist in schedule planning, including determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Establish budgetary guidelines and ensure cost control measures are strictly followed.
• Develop and manage job schedules and coordinate work with contractors and supplier deliveries.
• Ensure all project rules, safety programs, and workplace behavior standards are followed consistently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in the self-perform construction industry.
• 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent role managing foremen and electrical craft employees.
• 3+ years of direct experience within electrical construction.
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of state license requirements regarding journeyman to apprentice ratios.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites across the US.
