Electrical Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Lead, supervise, and support site crews to foster productivity, accountability, and teamwork
• Act as the primary liaison between the company, client representatives, subcontractors, and on-site personnel
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring adherence to company safety policies and reporting all incidents
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet construction timelines through effective planning of manpower, materials, and equipment
• Monitor and maintain the quality of workmanship in accordance with design documents and project requirements
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and client to review and resolve RFIs and Change Orders
• Ensure all electrical work complies with Technical Safety BC requirements and applicable permits

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a Journeyperson Electrician designation
• 5–7 years of experience in the construction industry
• Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and WorkSafeBC regulations
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel to remote sites and work in adverse weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in BC Hydro or utility-related work
• High-voltage electrical experience
• PSSP/WPP, CAT5, or equivalent utility safety training
