Electrical Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of service electricians, apprentices, and coordinators to foster a culture of accountability.
• Oversee day-to-day service department operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and workflow coordination.
• Manage residential and commercial service projects, including electrical repairs, generator installations, and EV charging stations.
• Monitor department KPIs such as revenue, technician utilization, job turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
• Utilize service management software for scheduling, reporting, and operational performance tracking.
• Coordinate with internal departments including accounting, permitting, and procurement to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Prior leadership or management experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, service work, and applicable electrical codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using service management or scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical service or field experience.
• Experience using and enforcing a service pricebook for estimating and invoicing.
• Valid electrical license.
