About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead cost management interface for electrical construction scopes
  • Develop, manage, and present electrical cost plans, estimates, and forecasts
  • Estimate, review, and negotiate electrical change orders and variations
  • Review and reconcile electrical contractor and subcontractor pricing
  • Coordinate all sources of electrical cost information including supplier inputs and long-lead equipment
  • Inform and influence engineering and design priorities based on cost impact and constructability
  • Manage electrical cost checks, valuations, contingency, and risk allowances
  • Lead value engineering and cost optimization exercises
  • Produce accurate monthly electrical cost reports and funding data presentations
  • Maintain robust electrical cost benchmarking and auditing records
  • Identify, coach, and mentor team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying with an electrical focus
  • Proven experience leading electrical cost management on mission-critical or complex projects
  • Deep trade and package-level expertise across major electrical systems
  • Professional working proficiency in Korean and English is required
  • Strong understanding of procurement routes and value engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior client-facing environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience within a construction consultancy environment
  • RICS accreditation or progress toward chartership
