Electrical Safety Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Examine files and documentation before production to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Perform tests according to established schedules and protocols
• Enter, validate, and record all test results in the laboratory information system
• Optimize production workflows and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure precision and compliance
• Write comprehensive test reports in accordance with applicable electrical safety standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 62368-1, IEC 60598, IEC 60335, and IEC 61010-1)
• Collaborate with technical and quality teams to analyze test failures and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 62368-1, IEC 60598, IEC 60335, and/or IEC 61010-1)
• Significant experience in a testing laboratory
• Proficiency in writing test reports in both French and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality frameworks such as CB, COFRAC, or NRTL
• Knowledge of metrology
