About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and reliable operations of electrical systems across industrial gas production facilities.
- Act as the primary technical resource for low, medium, and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and motors.
- Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs such as transformer oil analysis, thermography, and partial discharge testing.
- Identify and resolve chronic electrical asset issues to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
- Develop and execute small electrical projects focused on reliability improvements.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Support cost estimation for maintenance and electrical project work.
- Perform combined office and field work with approximately 25% domestic travel.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of maintenance/reliability experience focused on electrical assets, OR 15+ years of equivalent industrial experience.
- Proven experience with low, medium, and high-voltage electrical distribution systems.
- Knowledge of electrical preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies.
- Proficiency in using CMMS systems and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation.
