Electrical Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt, in-process, and final inspection and test activities
• Maintain accurate inspection and test status of items
• Perform special process monitoring activities
• Ensure correctness of Work Sign-off activities
• Aid in the implementation of the Quality Management System and Programs
• Prepare or review Inspection and Test Plans
• Coordinate Project QC activities and interface with clients or subcontractors
• Document results of inspections and tests accurately
• Ensure proper use and safe handling of measurement and test equipment
• Identify and control nonconforming items according to company procedures
• Perform all work in compliance with safety programs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of college education or University degree in a technical-related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of construction trades experience
• Minimum of 5 years QA/QC experience, including non-conformance control and inspection/test plan generation
• Comprehensive knowledge of Codes and Standards
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to obtain OPG Security Clearance
• Ability to work outside regular business hours as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear power generation environments
• Strong problem-solving and innovation skills
