Electrical QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site electrical inspection and Quality Control activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
• Perform specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities.
• Issue relevant Quality Records and report non-conformances to the QC Supervisor.
• Check cable laying, cable identification, and cable connections.
• Test electrical equipment installation, including power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, sockets, and lighting systems.
• Conduct visual inspections, dimensional tests, and verify material ratings.
• Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests, as well as functional tests.
• Verify special processes and ensure relevant workers hold the necessary qualifications.
• Witness tests, controls, and inspections to ensure correct implementation of approved plans.
• Manage and collect all documentation certifying tests and inspections for the final As-Built dossier.
• Oversee subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to approved Quality Control Plans.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• COMPEX certification.
• INSEMEX certification.
• Fluency in the English language.
