Electrical QA Inspector

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines for hyperscale data center projects.
• Develop and implement Audit and Test Plans for quality inspections and testing.
• Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and oversee commissioning processes.
• Review and verify material submittals, RFI logs, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and update QC punch lists, coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors for timely completion.
• Investigate and address non-conformance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain and update quality manuals, checklists, and project closeout documents including O&M manuals and as-builts.
• Liaise with the General Contractor, Client, and Project Management team to resolve quality and technical challenges.

Requirements

• 15+ years of construction and quality management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE related to QA/QC functions.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP plans, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Strong technical knowledge of high, medium, and low-voltage systems, HVAC, and control systems.
• Proven experience as an Electrical QA/QC Supervisor for large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Deep understanding of construction Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Ability to work effectively in high-production, fast-paced environments under strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Construction Quality Manager Certification (CCQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• Six Sigma or ISO 9001 certifications.
• US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) experience.
• LEED/Green Building certification.
• Strong background specifically in data center development and construction.
