Electrical QA Inspector

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines for hyperscale data center projects.
• Review and verify material submittals, RFI logs, and maintenance logs to ensure alignment with approved specifications.
• Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and plan/inspect Definable Features of Work (DFWs).
• Develop and implement Audit and Test Plans for quality inspections and testing.
• Manage and update QC punch lists, coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors for timely completion.
• Investigate and address non-conformance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Oversee commissioning processes and manage MEP project closeout to ensure all requirements are met.
• Maintain and update Quality manuals, checklists, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with third-party QA/QC firms, public utility suppliers, and project partners.

Requirements

• 15+ years of construction and quality management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE related to QA/QC functions.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP plans, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Extensive knowledge of high, medium, and low-voltage systems.
• Proven experience working as an Electrical Quality Supervisor for large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of construction Quality Management Systems (QMS) and project closeout processes.
• Ability to work effectively in high-production, fast-paced environments.
• Must have a current US work permit (sponsorship is not offered).

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Construction Quality Manager Certification (CCQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• Six Sigma or ISO 9001 certifications.
• LEED/Green Business Certification.
• Strong background specifically in data center development and construction.
