Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee General Contractor construction activities for high-profile data center projects
• Manage and collaborate with project stakeholders and internal teams
• Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips
• Produce formal project status reports and monitor multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Manage supplier interfaces through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
• Forecast and update key project milestones
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, and general contractors
• Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field
• Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance
• Review status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience
• Experience in data center construction or with an electrical contractor
• Proficiency in Data Center Commissioning Process (levels 1–5)
• Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, and RFIs
• Proficiency in Procore, P6, CxAlloy, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and construction methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with substation and power distribution systems
• Familiarity with MEP design
