Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance
• Review and comment on reports or designs
• Create scope and estimates and assign work to appropriate entities
• Review completion certificates to complete the end-to-end process
• Prepare contract documentation and specifications to meet industry standards
• Design and review work of intermediate and junior engineers
• Coordinate work with all members of the design team
• Perform estimating and cost control to maximize client value
• Compile project reports and conduct conceptual design studies
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively pursuing chartership
• In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and national electrical regulations
• Experience leading and supervising multi-disciplinary design teams
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Competence in electrical design software and technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Maximo experience
• Diploma or Masters Degree in Project Management
• ATEX qualification and experience
• Certified Energy Manager or experience in the energy sector
• Experience working with water and wastewater treatment plants
