Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, design, implementation, and completion for electrical projects
• Manage procurement by maintaining submittal and procurement logs and verifying BOM accuracy
• Maintain project budgets, forecasts, and WIP while identifying cost impacts
• Track field productivity and collaborate with field leadership to resolve production issues
• Enforce site-specific safety policies and plans
• Analyze contract schedules and assist in workforce projections
• Coordinate quality control, including BIM coordination and complex installation layouts
• Manage electronic document control and closeout documents
• Lead and coach field teams and maintain relationships with general contractors

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the commercial electrical industry
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret bid documents
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to lift more than 75lbs
• Willingness to travel 20-30% as per project needs

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certifications
• Proficiency in Procore, NetSuite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office 365
• Valid Driver’s License
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
