Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned electrical projects in the $10M-$50M+ range to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and safety goals
• Define project objectives, policies, and performance standards
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Develop and manage construction schedules and milestones
• Monitor, report, and forecast progress, labor productivity, budget, and costs
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and contractual obligations
• Prepare project estimates and negotiate scope changes
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or Red Seal Electrical Journeyman certification
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in the construction industry with a contractor
• 5-10 years of experience in the electrical industry with large-scale utility projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite
• Experience with JD Edwards, Oracle-based ERP, or Procore
• Valid BC Driver’s License
• Ability to travel to sites around Vancouver Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island

Preferred Qualifications

• P.Eng. or PMP designation
• Gold Seal Certification or construction safety certifications
• Experience with medium and high voltage utility work, substations, or roadway lighting
• Experience with P3, design-build, or WWTP projects
