Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, schedules, and resource allocation
• Create and manage project budgets while tracking expenses and cost-saving opportunities
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and contractors
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Implement quality control measures and enforce safety protocols on job sites
• Identify and resolve project issues and challenges in a timely manner

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the electrical ICI sector combined with supervisory or superintendent roles
• Journeyperson Electrician certification or experience in Construction Management
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and CSA Canadian Electrical Code
• Proficiency in Procore and MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Ability to obtain Level II Secret Clearance
• Willingness to travel within Nova Scotia
• Skills in contract management, blueprint reading, and project design interpretation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JD Edwards or Oracle-based ERP systems
• Background in the construction industry
