Electrical Product Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical product safety testing in the laboratory and on client sites
• Ensure compliance with established procedures, standards, and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements
• Prepare accurate test reports and certification documentation
• Manage workload to meet project timelines, budgets, and departmental targets
• Support calibration and maintenance of test equipment
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and adherence to company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Safety Engineer or in a similar relevant role
• Recent experience using test and measuring equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Bachelor or Master Degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
• Alternative HNC/HND in electrical engineering with relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Full Driving Licence for use in the UK
• Familiarity with EU/UK safety directives
