Electrical Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach and lead a team of forepersons, electricians, apprentices, and service technicians
• Coordinate daily work activities and manage the lifecycle of service calls, PMs, and small project work
• Provide technical support for service calls, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and small projects
• Assist in quoting service calls and small electrical projects
• Collaborate with management to set growth strategy and regional goals
• Support work involving power distribution, lighting, generators, UPS systems, fire alarm systems, solar, and controls
• Work with business development to identify new electrical leads and secure service agreements
• Champion a 'safety-first' culture and ensure standards for safe working conditions are enforced
• Resolve client concerns and build long-term partnerships
• Conduct quality assurance and safety inspections

Requirements

• 5-10+ years in electrical service, maintenance, or facility operations
• Proven track record of leading people in a trade environment
• 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician License required
• Understanding of industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) electrical systems
• In depth knowledge of OESC, ESA requirements, and applicable CSA standards
• Knowledge and experience with union (IBEW) trade agreements
• Valid G drivers license and ability to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario
• Proficient user of Office 365 software
• Ability to obtain security clearance certificates

Preferred Qualifications

• 442A Industrial Electrician license
• 434A Powerline Technician license
• Master Electrician license
• UWPC code certification
