About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain, and repair complex industrial electronic and electrical systems, controls, and support equipment throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using voltmeters, circuit analyzers, and other specialized test instruments.
  • Interpret complicated drawings, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and service manuals to resolve issues with machine controls.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (TPM) and machine checks to ensure proper performance and safety.
  • Install and repair switchgear, transformers, and high-voltage equipment, including substation wiring.
  • Maintain facility support services including HVAC, process piping, and electrical conduit/wiring.
  • Respond to production emergencies and report potentially dangerous situations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a qualified electrical apprenticeship.
  • Experience as an Electrical Lineman.
  • Knowledge of medium voltage power distribution.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant electrical experience.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electronic controls (Motor Controls, CNC, Relay Logic, HV/DC Power Supplies).
  • Familiarity with OSHA and general industrial safety practices.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) as it applies to industrial work.
  • Experience performing calibrations on electronic and electrical devices.
