About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair complex industrial electronic and electrical systems, controls, and support equipment throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using voltmeters, circuit analyzers, and other specialized test instruments.
- Interpret complicated drawings, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and service manuals to resolve issues with machine controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance (TPM) and machine checks to ensure proper performance and safety.
- Install and repair switchgear, transformers, and high-voltage equipment, including substation wiring.
- Maintain facility support services including HVAC, process piping, and electrical conduit/wiring.
- Respond to production emergencies and report potentially dangerous situations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of a qualified electrical apprenticeship.
- Experience as an Electrical Lineman.
- Knowledge of medium voltage power distribution.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant electrical experience.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electronic controls (Motor Controls, CNC, Relay Logic, HV/DC Power Supplies).
- Familiarity with OSHA and general industrial safety practices.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) as it applies to industrial work.
- Experience performing calibrations on electronic and electrical devices.
