Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery
• Repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, and CNC Grinders
• Perform PLC programming, HMI programming, and servo controller modifications
• Jog, reset, and teach/touch up Fanuc and Denso Robot positions
• Plan and install primary and secondary controls and diagnose electrical/electronic problems
• Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes and perform mechanical repairs as necessary
• Enter all work completed or in progress into the SAP work order system

Requirements

• Minimum of four years experience in a manufacturing environment with Control Systems, PLCs, CNC Controls, Robots, PCs, and HMIs
• Working knowledge of prints, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Understanding of machine communications, including cables and LAN components
• Competency in working safely in electrical control panels of various voltage levels
• Qualified to work in electrical panels of 3-phase 480 volts and lower
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Robot School certification
