Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering activities and plant availability through PPMs, reactive maintenance, and process improvements
• Perform electrical work including sensors, relays, ac/dc motors, contactors, control panels, and PLCs
• Conduct fault finding on PLCs, preferably Siemens S7
• Manage motor electrical and mechanical fault finding and MCC panel layouts
• Handle controls and instrumentation including temperature, pressure transducers, and flow meters
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and perform electrical fault diagnoses
• Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping

Requirements

• HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• BS7671 18th edition (advantageous)
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automated environments
• Competent and electrically qualified
