About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including mixing machines, coating machines, and assembly robots
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to identify root causes
- Execute routine calibrations on critical measurement devices to ensure production accuracy
- Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards
- Interpret equipment performance data to identify optimization strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency
- Department of Labor or State Recognized Certification (or Military Equivalent)
- Previous industrial electrical experience or equivalent training
- Working knowledge of Industrial Electronics and National Electrical Codes
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems
- Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to read and interpret data
- Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and weekends as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Expert knowledge in mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Advanced computer skills and data interpretation
- Fundamental knowledge of PLC (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
- Experience with conveyors, drives, robots, and industrial computers
