Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage outstanding and upcoming machine maintenance tasks
• Respond to any breakdowns
• Coordinate and control on-site contractors in line with company processes
• Ensure HSE KPIs and all relevant legislative requirements are consistently met
• Attend and actively participate in training to minimise skills gaps
• Support the maintenance strategy to improve reliability and up-time
• Analyse major breakdowns through comprehensive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Attend and contribute to team briefings and operational meetings

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
• Time served in an electrical maintenance role
• Experience in both planned/preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown response
• Strong understanding of sound engineering practices
• Proven ability in fault finding and problem solving within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
• IT literate with knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
