About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide reactive and proactive highly skilled maintenance on operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
- Liaise with external contractors for reactive maintenance and scheduled planned service maintenance
- Request and check RAMS, induct personnel, and provide permits to work for onsite contractors
- Complete planned maintenance (PMs, RMs & CMs) via a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives to highlight deficiencies and recommend changes
- Assist in the administration of the CMMS to ensure accuracy for all maintenance and stock activities
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, including COSHH and ISO standards
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- BS7671 18th edition (advantageous)
- Previous health and safety training experience
- Familiarity with continuous improvement (CI) principles
