About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define the technical scope and design requirements for electrical line projects.
  • Ensure designs are safe, optimized, and constructible while complying with all applicable regulations.
  • Plan, contract, and supervise external engineering services to ensure quality and deadline compliance.
  • Perform or coordinate detailed engineering, including necessary mechanical and electrical calculations.
  • Draft and review technical specifications for assembly, supplies, and material lists.
  • Technically evaluate supplier offers and documentation requirements for official administration bodies.
  • Provide technical support to construction managers during project execution.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with electrical lines.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level preferred).
  • Expertise in electrical and mechanical calculations, including grounding systems and main components.
  • Advanced proficiency in design software such as PLS-CADD and Tower.
  • Expertise in power cable calculation and optimization using CYMCAP.
  • Strong knowledge of High Voltage Electrical Line Regulations and technical instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GIS tools such as Pathfinder or QGIS.
  • Knowledge of overhead cables, insulators, fittings, and power cable accessories.
  • Familiarity with topographic techniques and LIDAR.
  • Understanding of construction management, health and safety, environment, and quality standards.
