Electrical Journeyman

Responsibilities

• Install services, feeders, circuits, and conduit
• Install and terminate switchgear and other electrical devices
• Perform layout and preparation for installation, including underground layout
• Troubleshoot motors and controls
• Apply electrical theory and NFPA 70 National Electric Code standards
• Supervise and train apprentices as required
• Operate trenchers, backhoes, and manlifts safely

Requirements

• Current Journeyman Electrical License
• Valid MT Electrical License (must be willing to acquire licensing in WA, OR, and ID within 180 days)
• High School diploma or GED and related trade school education
• Ability to read and interpret prints and schematics
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work at various heights, and work in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing
