Electrical Journeyman

Responsibilities

• Install feeders, wire, conduit, switchgear, and devices
• Perform switchgear and device installations and terminations
• Execute layout and preparation for installations, including underground rough-in
• Troubleshoot motors and controls
• Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics
• Adhere to all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment
• Operate trenches, backhoes, and lifts in a safe manner

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (related trade school education preferred)
• Current Journeyman license
• 4 years of previous electrical experience
• Ability to read and comprehend prints and schematics
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and at various heights
• Ability to travel extensively (80% to 100% of the time)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug testing
