Electrical Integration Associate - Avionics

Responsibilities

• Work on an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion engineering teams to develop assembly and integration test plans
• Utilize various test equipment and instruments, including thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes, to execute test plans
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts
• Solve complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems within an integrated system

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree
• Recent graduate (within the last 6 months) or currently enrolled in a post-graduate program
• Strong passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco 5 days a week
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems
• Proficiency in Python for interfacing with test equipment, processing datasets, and data visualization
• Direct experience in electrical or software design
• Demonstrated ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure
