Electrical & Instrumentation Trades Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Electrical & Instrumentation tradespeople with a focus on high voltage activities
• Ensure all activities comply with HSSE requirements and refinery management systems
• Conduct field leadership activities including safety observations and workplace inspections
• Develop, review, and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Drive delivery of scheduled maintenance work using JDE and Primavera P6
• Provide technical support for electrical and high voltage maintenance in hazardous areas
• Coach, mentor, and develop tradespeople and apprentices

Requirements

• Trade qualification in Electrical
• Strong High Voltage (HV) electrical background and technical expertise
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial, process, energy, or heavy manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated experience supervising or leading electrical trades teams
• Experience working in hazardous area environments
• Proficiency with work management systems such as JDE, SAP, or equivalent CMMS
• Strong understanding of electrical standards, codes, and safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications

• HV switching/operator experience
• Hazardous Area certification
• Experience in oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, or power generation industries
• Understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and industrial automation
• Experience with Primavera P6
• Training, assessment, or workplace coaching experience
