Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using communication software
• Perform maintenance and electrical tasks including calibrating, monitoring, and repairing transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, and sensors
• Execute planned preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed maintenance records
• Provide electrical and instrumentation support to ensure safe and effective production continuity
• Install, test, and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, wiring, receptacles, transformers, conduits, and lighting fixtures
• Identify potential problems in electrical design to support continuous improvement and operational uptime

Requirements

• 2-year degree, equivalent certification, or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience working with automated equipment
• Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and automation
• Proficiency with Siemens systems preferred
