Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide E&I support for assigned assets including pipelines, remote monitoring facilities, and pump stations.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment such as motor control centers, generators, transformers, and power distribution centers.
• Calibrate and maintain midstream instrumentation including flow meters, transmitters, sensors, analyzers, and data loggers.
• Configure and program industrial control systems, including PLCs and DCS, and perform loop checks and point-to-point verification.
• Respond to and resolve station alarms and communicate findings to appropriate parties.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and regulatory-compliant documentation in accordance with DOT, Environmental, and Safety requirements.
• Generate computerized work requests and coordinate maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous electrical or instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location in Lima, OH.
• Ability to pass a general background check and a Motor Vehicle Background check.
• Availability for travel, call-outs, and overtime on an as-needed basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Journeyman’s card in a related technical field.
• Previous pipeline electrical and instrumentation experience.
